A warm welcome to everyone who has joined Old Geelong Football Club this season. Here's how to make the most of your first year in navy and blue.
To everyone who has put their hand up and joined Old Geelong Football Club this season — welcome. You’ve made a great decision.
You’re Part of Something Special
OGFC has been a part of South Yarra and the broader Melbourne community since 1954. Over 70 years, thousands of players have called this club home. Some came for the football. Most stayed for the community.
That community is what makes OGFC different from other clubs. It’s close-knit, supportive, and genuinely fun to be part of. Whether you’re a seasoned VAFA veteran or stepping onto a football field for the first time, you’ll find your place here.
Getting Started
Here are a few things to know as you settle in:
Training runs every Monday at 6:00pm and Saturday at 12:30pm at Como Park, Toorak Road, South Yarra. Show up, introduce yourself, and don’t worry if you don’t know anyone yet — you will soon.
The Committee is always available if you have questions. Reach out to us at oldgeelongFC@gmail.com and someone will get back to you.
Social events are a big part of what we do. Follow our social channels and keep an eye on this page for upcoming events throughout the season.
A Note on Our Values
We ask that every player, coach, and supporter lives by the values that define this club: respect, enjoyment, accountability, courage, and integrity.
On the field, that means competing hard and respecting opponents. Off the field, it means supporting each other and contributing to a culture you’d want to be part of.
We’re glad you’re here. Let’s make it a great year.
