About Old Geelong
Football Club.
For over 70 years, the Old Geelong Football Club has fostered a proud community. Formed in 1954 as Old Geelong Grammarians, the club found early success and a permanent home at Como Park, along the Yarra River.
Since 1954.
Since 1954, Old Geelong Football Club has been supporting community football in South Yarra. We are proud to have such a rich history impacting thousands of players — supporting their development and growth as footballers and people.
Community sport is vital to building social and healthy relationships. At OGFC, we believe football is the vehicle, but the community we build around it is what endures. From the earliest days as Old Geelong Grammarians to our current five-team competition across men's and women's football, our identity has been shaped by the people who have worn the navy and blue.
Today, our vision is to be the most respected club in the VAFA. A community where every player and supporter feels proud, connected, and accountable to one another.
Why OGFC?
The OGFC community is close-knit, inclusive, and built on shared values that go well beyond the scoreboard.
Respect & Integrity
We treat every player, opponent, and supporter with respect — on and off the field.
Enjoyment
Football should be fun. We foster a culture where every person enjoys being part of the OGFC community.
Accountability & Work Ethic
We hold ourselves to high standards, show up for each other, and put in the work every week.
