The 2026 VAFA season is here. Here's everything you need to know about our five teams, training schedules, and how to get involved this year.
The 2026 VAFA season is officially underway, and we couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead for Old Geelong Football Club.
Five Teams, One Club
This year OGFC fields five competitive teams across men’s and women’s football:
- Men’s Seniors — competing in Premier Section
- Men’s Reserves — VAFA Section 2
- Men’s Thirds — VAFA Section
- Women’s Reserves — Premier Women’s Reserve
- Women’s Seniors — Women’s Seniors competition
Each team brings its own energy and ambition, but all are united by the same values that have defined this club since 1954.
New Coaches, Fresh Momentum
We’re delighted to welcome several new coaching appointments this season, alongside our returning coaches who continue to bring world-class development to our players. Full coaching panels are listed on each team’s page.
Training Schedule
Training runs on Mondays from 6:00pm and Saturdays from 12:30pm at Como Park, Toorak Road, South Yarra. All teams welcome players at any point during the season — it’s never too late to get involved.
Join the Club
If you’re thinking about playing this year, don’t hesitate. Come down to a training session and introduce yourself. Our community is close-knit and welcoming, and there’s a place for everyone in navy and blue.
