Hugh McKay wins B&F by a vote!

Hugh McKay has taken out the 2016 Best and Fairest by one vote over Colby O'Brien in a thrilling vote count held at Beer Deluxe Hawthorn on Thursday.

Hugh and Colby were neck and neck along with Cal Wood throughout the majority of the count, with a couple of big games from Hugh ensuring that he pipped wylie old veteran late in the count.

This is Hugh's first Best and Fairest award after finishing runner-up in 2015. Colby was gunning for his fifth B&F in six years, but instead settled for runner-up, meaning he has finished first or second in the count six years straight - an amazing feat.
