On Saturday 18th of March and Sunday 19th of March, 16 players and members of the Old Geelong Football club travelled to the Willaura region to donate their time in aid of repairing some of the damage caused by the Grampians Bush Fires During the Australia Day week this year.  In addition to the contribution of 16 labour volunteers for 1.5 days, which removed over 10km of ruined fence line and partially built over 4km of new fence line, approximately $2,500 cash was raised for the Grampians Region Bush Fire Appeal.
