Tickets sold out for Pivot Lunch #1
All tickets have now sold out for the first Pivot Lunch for the year
The Old Geelong Football Club invites you to attend the first Pivot Lunch of the year, to be held at Como Park Pavilion on the 28th of May. As usual, the bar will open at 11.30am and we will be seated by 12.15pm.
This year, our first lunch will focus on the magical milestone of 50 years since the 1966 team won the flag. Thanks to Tony Poolman, a 40 plus strong contingency from the era will be in attendance. This group were among the founders of the Club and are responsible for the culture and strength of the Club today.
The guest speakers will be from that famous 1966 team. We look forward hearing stories and anecdotes from; Tony Mollard (1966 President), Peter Scott (Coach), John Lewisohn (Seniors Captain) and Tony Poolman.
Tickets are free for Gold (2 tickets per year) and Platinum (4 tickets per year) members and $60 for others, which includes meal, drinks and entertainment. Contact Lachie Stevens to confirm your spot at firstname.lastname@example.org or 0419 305 519. Tickets are strictly limited at 100 and are selling fast.
Special thanks to Ruth Vickers-Willis who will be catering the event, with meat provided by Herds Meats, beer by Furphy beer and wine thanks to Angus the Bull.
